This course is designed to give a basic understanding of what sales is and how to create a sales process and build a professional referral network that supports a successful business. In this workshop the instructor will introduce students to the process of selling. Steps in selling will be reviewed starting with the difference between marketing and sales. The instructor will discuss and explain sales as a series of steps from the first sales call or introduction to the closing of the sale. The workshop will conclude with time to answer attendee’s questions and address unique circumstances and sales challenges. Each student will leave with a toolkit of at-home exercises and reference handouts to continue sales development for their own enterprise.
